    About Home Game Poker

    Built by a home-game host

I’m Keven Bermeo, founder of Home Game Poker. I host a regular $0.25/$0.50 home game, and I built HG Poker around the part of the night that can turn a friendly game into a bookkeeping exercise: settlement.

Nobody wants to spend thirty minutes rebuilding a game because one rebuy out of fifteen went missing. It can be too small a game to ask every player to make an ATM run, but one missed rebuy still throws the table’s totals off. Peer-to-peer settlement works best when everyone can follow the numbers.

    Let the host play

Home Game Poker keeps the record. Your group settles the rest. The app brings buy-ins, rebuys and final chip counts together so the host can see what happened and the group can see who owes whom. It does not take bets or move money; players pay each other outside the app.

The guides and free tools on this site extend that same idea to planning poker night: clear chip values, an agreed blind schedule and a record you can check before anyone leaves. They are practical starting points for your own house rules, not a substitute for agreeing those rules with your friends.
